Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Green construction is building or remodeling homes using sustainable materials. Sustainable or “green” construction is recommended to create a healthier building while using our resources more efficiently. Studies have shown that there are tremendous cost savings through green building through improved occupants health and productivity, lower building operation costs, and use of resources more efficiently.
We had the pleasure of working with one such contractor in the Jacksonville Metro Area, Solid Built Construction. Not only does he use “green” principles in his construction, he is active in the local community through programs such as Habitats for Humanity. With Wipe Out’s first successful year in the water damage and mold remediation industry, the Wipe Out family has come together to help another family in need. Participating in the Micah’s Place adopt a family program, our company family selected a mother with four young children. The gift collection drive is bringing clothes and toys to help this unfortunate family feel loved and special during the holiday season. 
Rana Killough of Wipe Out is being locked up..that’s right, she’s going behind bars to help Jerry’s Kids© and MDA. This “jailbird” has been charged with having a big heart and must now do the time that suits the crime. To be released on good behavior she has to raise bail and needs your help!
